Move Items

In a warehouse, you may want to move products to another location for various reasons. Here are some of them:

  • Products can be located in a different storage location than specified in Stoqflow.
  • Create space in the warehouse by combining certain products on one location.
  • Move popular products to a better storage location, for example, near the packing tables.

Select an Item

To move an item, click on 'inventory management' in the menu and select 'move items'. You can now enter the SKU or the name of the product. Here you can also use a barcode scanner if desired.

Next, you can specify which products from which location you want to move. It is not possible to move multiple batches or lot numbers at the same time.

!> Note You cannot move reserved items to another location. What if you really want to give the items a different location? Then you can either move the entire location or unreserve and re-inventory the products via an inventory correction.

In a third and final step, it is specified how many products need to be moved and to which location these products should be moved.
